Inserting Symbol in Word Document

SYMBOLS

It used to insert many symbols which are not available in your keyboard.

• First click at the insertion point where your symbol will insert.
• Click on Insert Menu
• Click on Symbol
• From drop down list select a symbol you want.

Or

• For more symbol clik on More Symbol option then it will display a symbol dialog box from than box you can select symbol by changing font

EQUATION

Word 2013 provides an option to create complex mathematical equations very easily. It has so many method to add mathematical equation in your documents.

• First place the crusor at the insertion point.
• Click on Insert menu.
• Click on equation option in symbol group then new equation creation box will display and in menu bar it will display format menu, it present many formats with different category and select any format you want and type.

• You can select from predefind equation clik on the drop down arrow and it will display some predefiend format then clik any format you want.
• The equation will display in your document and you type your text within equation and can add other format from Format menu
